SDOT has published its first-quarter 2022 report on how it has spent revenues from the Move Seattle Levy.
Highlights of accomplishments in the report:
- Safety corridor improvements along Lake City Way, Sand Point Way NE, and 15th Avenue S.
- Work on the Delridge RapidRide H Line.
- 7,200 sidewalk spot repairs.
- Planting 221 new trees.
- 3/4 mile of new protected bike lanes.
Winter is typically a slow month for transportation construction and maintenance projects, as the cold and wet weather interfere with work. On top of that, the concrete workers’ strike stalled many projects for several months.
