Regional Homeless Authority update

Today the King County Regional Homeless Authority provided a status update to the Seattle City Council on several topics, including:

  • its replacement for the annual “Point in Time” count required by HUD;
  • several programs it funds through third parties: new con-congregate shelters, an RV safe lot, a new “high acuity” shelter, and outreach.
  • Its plan to fund and get up and running the “tiny house” village in South Seattle that currently sits empty.
