EPA’s new plan for lower Duwamish superfund site cleanup

The EPA has published a draft plan for a $290 million cleanup of the lower Duwamish River east waterway, one of two Superfund sites in the area that is heavily contaminated with PCBs from decades of industrial pollution. Public comments will be accepted through June 27.
